Average Per Week in Assortment Plan
The Assortment Plan module now allows you to select Average Per Week metrics in both planning and compare modes. While building your line plan, you can set Average Per Week to output directly into your Gross Sales Units.
When hindsighting a historic period in time, however, the Average Per Week metric displays the average sales for all weeks where EOP Units is greater than 0. By only calculating average weekly sales using weeks with positive ending inventory, Toolio is able to filter out historic weeks where limited inventory may have restricted your sales potential.
Merchandise Plan % of TTL Improvements
When planning by % of TTL in Merchandise Plan, Toolio no longer automatically scales values in a hierarchy to 100%. This update allows you to enter percentages within a hierarchy without auto-scaling (unless you explicitly lock the hierarchy total). For most users, this workflow improves % of TTL planning so that you are able to input percentage changes freely. You can read more about planning by % of TTL here.
Reallocate Function in Merchandise Plan
The introduction of the Reallocate function in Merchandise Plan allows you to easily move planned values from one attribute option into another. A common use case for this function is when you want to move Uncategorized plan values under another attribute option. By using Reallocate, you can easily move the plan values for all metrics and remove any Uncategorized values in just a few clicks. Please read more about using the Reallocate function here.
Updated Data & Imports Menu
We’ve streamlined the Data & Imports menu with a new expandable sidebar. You can easily expand and collapse the sidebar menu. Under the Organization tab, we have also introduced the Time Frames and Change History sections. In Time Frames, you can quickly reference season start and end dates or add new seasons. Under Change History, you will see a log of your saved changes with the timestamp, model, optional comments, and the user who made the changes.
